Our staff is trained and skilled, and all our hygienists are certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars taught on dental implants and orthodontics, for example.

Melissa – Registered Dental Hygienist
Melissa is a 2002 graduate of Ferris State University. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. Melissa is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the American Dental Education Association. She keeps current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene by participating in continuing education courses. She is also active in the community, visiting local elementary schools for programs such as Children’s Dental Health Month.
Melissa has been working with Dr. Juliani since 2002. She currently resides in downtown Rochester, where she also grew up.
Melanie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Melanie is a 2007 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Melanie keeps up with current issues in Dental Hygiene by attending continuing education courses. She also stays active in the community by visiting local elementary schools during Children’s Dental Health Month.
Melanie has been working with Dr. Juliani since 2004. She currently resides in Addison Township. In her free time, Melanie runs in local 5k and 10k races. She also enjoys reading and playing co-ed softball.
Sara – Dental Assistant
Sara started working as Dr. Juliani’s assistant in June 2004. Her primary duties include: patient care, chair-side assisting and implant and lab-case coordination. She has been involved in dentistry for more than 20 years. She started as a teenager working at the front desk in her dad’s dental practice where she also trained as a chair-side assistant. Sara also has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Interior Design.
Outside the office, Sara spends a lot of time involved with her four children. She also enjoys exercising, reading, golf and gardening.
Ruth – Dental Assistant
Ruth has worked for Dr. Juliani since September 2005 providing patient care and chair-side assisting. She finds dentistry interesting because it is so varied and constantly changing. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and has a certificate of proficiency in Dental Assistant Radiology.
In her personal life, Ruth is married and has one daughter. She enjoys working part-time so she can enjoy hobbies like reading, golf and relaxing at the beach up north.
Erica – Dental Assistant
Erica has worked with Dr. Juliani since January 2008 as a dental assistant. Her duties include assisting with various procedures, instrument sterilization/disinfection and making impressions. Erica completed a training program for dental assisting, and is also finishing her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Melody – Front Desk
Melody has been employed at Dr. Juliani’s office since March 2004. Her duties include assisting patients with billing and insurance questions, as well as scheduling appointments. Melody’s prior employment consists of adult group home management and medical insurance billing.
Outside of the office, Melody enjoys spending time with her family and completing various arts and crafts projects.
